Biographical Sketch
Finnian Kelly was born in Dublin, Ireland, where he received a B.A., B.A.I. degree in Electronic & Computer Engineering from Trinity College Dublin in 2009. He subsequently completed a Ph.D. in the Sigmedia research group in Trinity College Dublin in 2013. In October 2014 he joined the Center for Robust Speech Systems (CRSS) at the University of Texas at Dallas as a research associate, under the guidance of Prof. John Hansen. His research interests are: speaker recognition, particularly with regard to the modelling and analysis of speaker traits such as age, gender and accent; forensic speaker recognition; speech perception.
